The Youth Voice Gold Standard was developed to create a baseline understanding of Youth and Young Adult engagement for every community.
The ACI Coaching Team has developed a Youth and Young Adult Engagement toolkit that includes this Youth Voice Gold Standard, Guidelines on Prepping and Debriefing, and a Focus Group Guide. Each of these tools provide a blueprint of best practices from our perspective and you can use them to inform your own understanding. Asking young people how these resources should be applied will yield the best results for the community and create sustainable spaces for YYA to thrive in ending youth homelessness.
