Resources like the stimulus payment can help young people stay housed. We created a Social Media Toolkit (English and Spanish) for each Anchor Community to explain what the stimulus payment is, who is eligible, how to receive it, and what resources exist locally. Please help us spread the word and share on your personal or organizational Facebook account.
what is the stimulus payment?
It’s a one-time, non-taxable $1,200 payment to help people get by during the COVID-19 outbreak, and in Washington state it cannot be seized by debt collectors.
Why is it Important?
For many young people experiencing housing instability, the federal government’s stimulus payment could mean the difference between staying housed and experiencing homelessness. By spreading the word that the payment is available and helping young people understand how to receive it, we can help young people stay housed.
